Technical Consultation with an On-Site Survey

At the on-site survey our infrared heating expert assesses in your property whether floor, ceiling or wall heating suits your home or house, goes through the layer structure, the preparations and the controls, and prepares a technical proposal on site. The service is available in Hungary.

Who is the on-site survey for?

More and more people are thinking about infrared heating for a new or renovated home, yet many do not know the possibilities in the technology. Our company has been installing infrared heating film since 2012, and with the experience of more than 5,000 installations we see that a good decision depends on accurate information. We consider it important that those interested in electric heating receive comprehensive information about the underfloor heating or ceiling heating options best suited to them.

Our expert comes to your home and carries out the survey in the property as precisely as possible: plans the installation options, goes through the layer structures and the preparation tasks, and what is needed for professional installation. The technical proposal prepared on site helps you decide on your future heating system.

What do you get at the survey?

• Professional advice and a technical proposal tailored to your property.
• A clear explanation of how infrared heating works.
• The chance to try the heating film in operation.
• A full picture of the preparations and the layer structures.
• A decision on whether underfloor heating, ceiling heating or wall heating will be installed.
• An overview of the control options: programmable thermostat, wifi thermostat, smart home control.
• Answers to all your questions about infrared heating.

You can find out how to apply on our on-site survey and consultation page.

If you would rather see the system in person first, you can also try heating film in operation in our Budapest showroom (1039 Budapest, Rákóczi u. 4.); we believe it is the largest infrared heating showroom in Hungary.

What to look for when choosing an installer

The quality of a heating system depends largely on planning and installation. When comparing quotes, it is worth checking the following:

• Did they look at the property? A reliable quote is hard to make without knowing the building: heat loss, the covering and the structure of the slab all influence the sizing.
• A detailed written quote. It should state the heated area, the output of the film, the layer structure, the controls and the labour charge, so that different quotes can be compared.
• Output sized to the building. Ask what heat loss they calculated with and why they designed that much output. Too much output is a needless investment, and too little is not enough in the cold.
• Protection against electric shock. Heating film must be installed with earthing and connected by an electrical professional – ask who makes the connection, and ask for documentation of it.
• The product and warranty in writing. Find out exactly which product will be installed and what the warranty covers and under what conditions. We give a 15.5-year warranty on 4th-generation heating film if we do the installation.
• Similar references. Ask for earlier work similar to your building and, if possible, talk to the clients.
• Commissioning and after-sales support. Ask who sets up the thermostats and whom you can turn to if you have questions during use.

We too consider it important that our customers receive professional information and that the system is installed in accordance with the regulations – at the survey we answer these questions as well.
