In this new 121 m² family house, the owner weighed for a long time whether to choose a heat pump or electric heating film. In the end the price of the investment mainly decided in favour of the film, which heats under vinyl flooring and tiles, and control is by a smart home system.
Heat pump or heating film?
At the start of the planning both systems were seriously considered. In the weighing, the initial cost carried the most weight, and in that comparison heating film came out more favourable. Floor covering and control
The house has two kinds of floor covering: vinyl and floor tiles, and the film underfloor heating works under both. The heating is switched and regulated not by conventional thermostats but by the house's smart home system.
The owner is very satisfied with the result: he finds the warmth arriving from the floor especially comfortable.
